By end of 2022, on BAM will run 523 engines GEVO12 delivered to BMZ by PDE

The heavy-duty diesel locomotive 3TE25K^2M was developed by Bryansk designers specifically for operation in harsh climatic conditions on sections with a complex track profile.
It is designed to drive trains of increased weight – up to 7100 tons.
Locomotive has 3 sections, each section equipped with one GEVO12 diesel engine max capacity 3400 kW.
This is total 10,2 MW installed capacity.

3TE25K^2M is most powerful diesel locomotive in Russia.
